Botanically-inspired sculpture comprised of ceramic and stainless steel elements. The base is a double-necked vessel, which was thrown, carved, and saggar-fired to a matte black. Three stainless steel forms inhabit the base: the Parsnip, made from over 700 individual welded and forged pieces featuring both polished and textured areas; the Branch, with a contrasting gold-bronze heat coloration; and the Perlage, constructed from extremely fine stainless steel wire shaped to resemble effervescence.

Every element, both metal and ceramic, is hand fabricated by me in my Taos, NM studio
