Abstracted, sculptural Calla Lily forms in ceramic vases.

The sculptural forms are carefully fabricated from fuse-welded stainless steel. The off-white vase was thrown as a closed form, drilled with a side stem mount, sanded ultra smooth and fired. The black vase was thrown, carved and saggar-fired, leaving a dark matte surface.

Both the metal and ceramic forms are made by me in my Taos, NM studio.
