Cold Bloom is a sculptural form shaped by the geometry of winter. Six fine wire elements branch outward in a crystalline arrangement, echoing the radial structure of a snowflake forming in cold air. Each segment is hand formed, welded and fused into place, creating a lightweight star that sways and turns gently with the slightest air current.

The linear elements have a soft satin luster and the flat circular facets are polished to an ultra reflective shine, creating contrast that shifts as the piece moves. The piece can be hung or placed on a surface. It stands beautifully on its own and is especially striking displayed in a small grouping.
