The sanding of the triangles, staining, painting and hand lettering took me months to complete, trying to fit the time into my (nearly obsolete) spare moments. This was the moment after I did the final sealing spray over the lettering. I thought I was nearly finished….
Buuut, any hour after sitting in the sun, the sides of the sign started to delaminate. The woodworker had only used glue to attach the sides. I was on a mission to hang the next day, so off to the hardware store for clamps, screws, and corner braces.
Neglected to get progress shots of the lamination repair, attaching the hanging hardware or the actual hanging. I was over it.
Thanks to my biz neighbor Yvonne and perfectly timed passersby Hollye and Jim for helping my get it on the wall!
